Singapore, 1st November 2010 – Intro-Sino Technology announces the delivery of another 2 units of Scitex LX800 to Botak Sign.   After installing and integrating the first unit of HP Scitex LX800 3.2m industrial Latex inkjet printer, Botak Sign is ready to proceed with the installation of the 2nd and 3rd unit. Although the new printer needs a bit of getting use to, it fits into the present workflow quite neatly. Already after 4 months of use, the printer is operating at full capacity. Mr. Sim from Botak Sign is confident that these 2 units will operate at the same capacity.  One of the units will be installed at the same location as the first unit at 38 Yio Chu Kang Road and the 3rd unit will be installed at its Kitchener Road premise which used to house 4 units of Mutoh 3m printers. When asked about the problem faced initially during the transition from conventional solvent to water-based solvent, Mr. Sim has these to say. 1. Media compatibility proves to be the biggest challenge. To solve this, Mr. Sim has before the arrival of the Latex inkjet printers, engaged factories in China to customize media for these printers, and these media is specially coated for Botak Sign. These media must first go through several tests before they can be use in productions. 2. Dealer support is another area that is crucial. “Being a new technology, our production operators need a lot of technical support.” - says Mr. Sim. Luckily Intro-Sino Technology has allocates dedicated manpower to Botak Sign, making sure that the printers operation are fully optimized. This means supporting after office hours, media profiling, performing preventive maintenances, etc. 3. Mindset change is also another. During the pre-sale process, Botak Sign was fully briefed by Intro-Sino Technology about the new Latex inkjet, making the transition from conventional solvent to Latex a much easier process. Many users tends neglect this and end up with a longer and frustrating experience when using these new printers. This is evidence even with the Designjet L25500 printers. Dealer’s confidence and knowledge is crucial.    Thinking of going green?  Going green will proves to be the difference in the future. Botak Sign is determine to pilot the green message and with the close partnership with Intro-Sino technology, will make these a possibility. Mr. Sim has reiterated that Botak Sign is most willing to share this with anyone who is interested to know more about the new Latex printers. Anyone interested can contact Mr. Sim Boon Keng directly or through Intro-Sino Technology (S) Pte Ltd
